Knowledge is power.
Both in terminology work and in the creation of systems for knowledge organization – taxonomies, thesauri or ontologies – jointly coordinated and defined terms and designations are an elementary prerequisite. This workshop builds a bridge from terminology to knowledge organization – two areas that so far have not had too many points of contact in practice, but which are both gaining in importance in companies. Because whoever has the knowledge has the power.
We develop the basic methods as well as similarities and differences between the two areas, look at examples of typical areas of application and see what synergies there are between the knowledge technologies.
