Actually, the International Congress Center Stuttgart ICS would have opened its doors to tekom visitors on November 2nd. In times of Corona everything is different: The leading industry event is taking place digitally for the first time. More than 60 exhibitors meet virtually at the world’s largest trade fair for technical communication. TermSolutions is there – this year as a gold sponsor.
Event app instead of an exhibition stand
Instead of exhibition stands, this year there are company profiles in an app specially set up for the event. Via the app, visitors receive detailed information on products, can follow tool presentations live and ask their questions in the chat. Advice via video call is of course also available. Conference participants automatically have free access to the virtual tekom trade fair. Those who do not want workshops and lectures can only register for a visit to the fair free of charge.
Online advice and chat function
TermSolutions also receives trade fair visitors virtually via the app. The trade fair team is on duty from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on all tekom days. Appointments can be reserved in advance using the app. Incidentally, during the “trade fair opening times”, visitors can ask their questions at any time using the app’s chat function – even without an appointment. If you cannot find a suitable time slot during the trade fair, you can of course contact TermSolutions by email at any time after tekom.
Virtual coffee for tool presentation
TermSolutions offers two tool presentations: The termXplorer terminology management will be presented on November 2, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. On November 5th, also from 2pm to 2.45pm, trade fair visitors can have the new termXact 2020 demonstrated online. With the tbx-based database connection, the upgrade includes a significant technical advancement. What’s still new: termXact is available as an annual subscription, with a single-user license and as an online exam. The common coffee at the booth after the presentation will unfortunately have to be omitted this year. However, tekom offers the possibility of spontaneous networking in a virtual café. What exactly awaits visitors here remains a surprise. By the way: If you don’t manage to be there live, you can still access the tool presentations via the app three months after the tekom.
